FFP Global Diversity Initiative

FFP Global is itself a fully certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) that would bring 14 years of experience, robust facility and people resources, and a commitment to efficiency, service, and accuracy. FFP Global is active with the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council as well as the Northern California Supplier Development Council.

In addition, we are a National Corporate Plus member of the NMSDC. Corporate Plus® is a national membership category for National Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) designed to recognize their national level depth and capability. We are finding that many corporations are seeking minority vendors of a scope to handle larger national and international programs. FFP Global participates in the Corporate Plus program to partly to have greater access to these opportunities and also to support our own internal Diversity Initiative.

FFP Global is proud member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council and Corporate Plus Member

Corporate Plus® is defined by the NMSDC as an unprecedented membership program of the National Minority Supplier Development Council for the highest caliber minority business enterprises which have the proven capacity to handle national contracts for major corporations. It is designed to recognize their national capabilities, bring them to the attention of all National Corporate Members, and expand their participation in the NMSDC Network. The success of this program will raise the level and perception of minority businesses to national prominence in corporate America.

FFP Global’s Key Diversity Initiatives:

To maintain active participation within the NMSDC and WBENC: FFP Global recognizes that these organizations are at the forefront of creating opportunities for MBE and WBE organizations. By participating at a national and local level, FFP Global not only supports the initiatives of these organizations, but also as a Corporate Plus member, sets an example for smaller MBE/WBE organizations through dedication to council goals and objectives. We seek to also increase our involvement to include leadership opportunities within these organizations, committees, and their working groups.

To increase our internal sourcing of services and products to include more vendor MBE, WBE, and DVBE companies: Although FFP Global currently sources some of our internal products, commodities, and services from MBE/WBE/DVBE companies, we look to increase this involvement to a total of 30% of out internal needs and services. We seek to reach this goal partly through new sourcing that seeks to include MBE/WBE/DVBE status as part of the evaluation process. In addition, we are looking to our current vendors to encourage those that do not already have an existing diversity initiative, to adopt one in the next 12 months.

To increase partnerships with other MBE/WBE/DVBE companies on ongoing opportunities: FFP Global already has several partnerships with other MBE/WBE/DVBE companies for the performance of some programs, as well as, current MBE/WBE/DVBE clients. We seek to maintain this involvement with these excellent organizations and further seek out additional MBE/WBE/DVBE partnering opportunities as they become available.

To maintain diversity within our own staff: FFP Global has a policy of encouraging diversity in the workforce. Employee diversity maximizes the talent pool of the company and is an important component of the workforce at FFP Global. Employees, as well as customers, benefit from the company’s policy on diversity because employees work in a dynamic environment where many different views are considered and respected.
