NMSDC - Corporate Plus Member

FFP Global is proud member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council and Corporate Plus Member

Corporate PlusŪ is defined by the NMSDC as an unprecedented membership program of the National Minority Supplier Development Council for the highest caliber minority business enterprises which have the proven capacity to handle national contracts for major corporations. It is designed to recognize their national capabilities, bring them to the attention of all National Corporate Members, and expand their participation in the NMSDC Network. The success of this program will raise the level and perception of minority businesses to national prominence in corporate America.

What is a Diversity Supplier?

The National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. defines a Minority Supplier as:

Asian-IndianA US citizen whose origins are from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh.
Asian-PacificA US citizen whose origins are from Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, Samoa, Guam, the US Trust Territories of the Pacific or the Northern Marianas.
BlackA US citizen having origins in any of the Black racial groups of Africa.
HispanicA US citizen of true-born Hispanic heritage, from any of the Spanish-speaking areas of Latin America or the following regions: Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean Basin only.
Native AmericanA person who is an American Indian, Eskimo, Aleut or Native Hawaiian, and regarded as such by the community of which the person claims to be a part. Native Americans must be documented members of a North American tribe, band or otherwise organized group of native people who are indigenous to the continental United States and proof can be provided through a Native American Blood Degree Certificate (i.e., tribal registry letter tribal roll register number.)

The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) defines a
Minority-Owned Business Enterprise as: A sole proprietorship, partnership, or corporation of which a minimum of 51% is owned by minority persons. In the case of a proprietorship, the minority owners must be engaged in the daily management, control, and operation of the business concern. In the case of a corporation, the minority stockholders must be in control of the management and daily business operations, and a majority of the Board of Directors must be minority group members.

Women-Owned Business Enterprise as: A "women owned firm" must have 51% ownership by a woman or women and proof of effective management of the business. This means having an operating position, hire-fire, and other decision-making roles. The firm must have bylaws. The woman or women must have control of the business as evidenced by signature role on loans, contracts, and leases. The woman or women must have US citizenship or have US Resident Alien Status.

Service Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise as: Must be at least 51% owned by one or more service disabled veteran individuals.
